This project involved the construction of a new substation building with overhead gantry crane and mass water fire storage facilities. Decorative precast concrete panels and cladding were also included in the new-build.

The exterior of the substation involved paving areas for heavy vehicle access as well as landscaping. Major rock excavation works were carried out, including detailed excavations for pits and chambers in the basement. Due to the security requirements of such a building, road access works and fencing was well designed and planned during this project.
