This two storey structure refurbishment required the building stripped to a bare shell including staircases, mezzanine timber flooring and all fixtures and fittings.
Inclement weather was the biggest challenge faced by this project. With substantial civil worThe rebuild comprised of: Surgical Hospital with steel stud; Offices, Consulting Rooms; Animal Recovery areas; Surgery Rooms; Internal lift; purpose-built lead-lined radiology equipment areas and outdoor dog enclosure and cattery.
Design considerations included structural steel purlins topped with CFC flooring on the first Level to allow for the weight of new surgical equipment. The full medical gas and Hepa mechanical system was an installation feature. The open-plan customer areas were finished with a practical epoxy flooring to suit regulation and hygiene requirements.
