Works Description

Lanskey Constructions were contracted to redevelop the Melton Square Shopping Centre, on a full design and construct delivery basis.

The works included the demolition of the existing Uniting Church building, construction of a new Uniting Church facility, the upgrade of existing specialty tenancies, demolition of the existing Coles supermarket, construction of a new Coles Supermarket & Liquorland, and the renewal of the overall shopping centre carpark (217 spaces) including new entry vehicle crossovers and new pylon signage.

Given the live operating environment of the project, Lanskey staged the project over a period of 13.5 months to ensure continuance of trade for the existing specialty tenancies, and to mitigate the close down period for the Coles supermarket.

The project was completed safely, on time, and to a high standard of finish, due to the commitment of Lanskey’s project construction team.

Completion Letter

To Whom It May Concern,

I can confirm that Aon Investments Pty Ltd were project partners with Lanskey Construction (Vic) Pty Ltd on a $12 million dollar Shopping Centre development of Melton Station Square. The redevelopment included facade refurbishment, reconfiguring and expansion of existing shops, relocating of tenancies, construction of a new Uniting Church building, demolition of existing United Church and undersized Coles, construction of a new full line Coles Supermarket and Liquor land, and new reconfigured car park. The project represented some challenges, which included the management of existing tenants that continued to trade during construction works, closure of the car park and interface with the Melton South community.

At all times during this project, from the tender phase, appointment and during construction we found the management and staff of Lanskey to be very reliable, professional and were very passionate about their work. There wasn't any task too hard and Lanskey were always happy to help in any situation even when it didn't relate to their scope of works. The project was delivered on time, despite a number of additional scope items being added and within budget. Outside of this project, we are again working with Lanskey on a large Industrial project in Western Australia

We would recommend Lanskey to any developer, in particular, the Victorian team being Julian Mcphee, Gavin Shaw, Ricky Lang, Andrew Burns, Marcus Van Gulick and Ralph Trovato. Thank you to the team for all your hard work and we look forward to working with Lanskey again soon.

Yours faithfully,

Aon Investments
