Works Description

Construction of the Amore Cheese Factory involved the Lanskey team working closely with the project control group on a Design & Construct, Construction Management basis to ensure that the end user’s specialised production requirements were met.

Lanskey were required to be pro-active and responsive during construction devlopment to ensure the tenant’s and client’s ever changing needs were accomodated in full. These were necessary to facilitate the continuous development of the specifications for the production plant & equipment provided to the end user - That’s Amore.

Being a very wet but sterile cheese production environment, appropriate flooring was paramount. Lanskey thoroughly investigated the numerous epoxy & polyurethane floor coating systems in order to ensure that the selected system best suited the conditions and life cycle costing.

Moreover, due to the location there were complications getting permanent power connection, which were mitigated by the Lanskey construction team.
